Made it here. Can't find a place to launch because of a huge boatshow, let alone dock. We are unwelcome EVERYwhere. Drove to Miami. Time for a drink. What do the locals have? Clamato flavored Budweiser. No lie. Not bad though. They also sell the champagne of beers, Miller High Life. In quarts. Ruth gets a Sparks, of course, and we go to the marina we think will be most likely to accept us tomorrow. Ruth tastes her first saltwater, then kisses me and says the Clamato Budweiser is saltier. "Not bad though." We befriend the guy at the baitshop, Al, and Cooper the head of security. They allow us to camp in the lot of the marina against the rules. and talk to us of manatees. Ruth sees an egret. The radio is in spanish, and the rain is incessant. This Clamato beer is delicious. No, I did not make that up.
