this is why you don't drive explorers. They're making such a stink about Toyota right now over floormats (are you fucking kidding me?) when Ford knew, and everyone else knew, that these vehicles rolled over easy, were top heavy, lose their grip, etc. and are crazy dangerous, yet they kept selling 'em for years. But a recall? Hell no. Why the double standard, America? And don't even mention the Pinto... another car that was not recalled no matter how throrougly their peligrosity (yup, I just made that up) was proven. So anyway, this here's the car my new friends almost died in the other day.

I went to check and see if the lot's still there yesterday. It was farther from town than I remembered, like 15 miles. HItched there and back. I'm sharin the fun with ya here:
